How we handle your personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Effective 30 October 2026.

Who we are

Shieldline Windscreens is operated by Camilo Ramada, a sole proprietor in South Africa, who is the responsible party for your information. You can contact us on WhatsApp at +27 84 683 1222.

What we collect

When you request a quote or message us, we collect your name, phone or WhatsApp number, and, if you give them, your vehicle type, the vehicle's location, photos of the damage and anything else you choose to tell us.

Why we collect it

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare your quote and arrange your windscreen replacement.

Who we share it with

We share your details with the fitment technician who quotes for and carries out your replacement, so they can contact you about your enquiry. We do not sell your information or share it for unrelated marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Cookies and advertising

This website uses Google Ads tracking to measure which adverts lead to enquiries. Google may set cookies for this purpose. You can manage these through your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
